Steve Scotchmer, a co-founder of Manitou and a member of our Investment Committee, brings to investment management a deep understanding of business. From 1982 until 1987, Steve served as President of Bay Mills Ltd., a highly profitable public company in the business of manufacturing engineered materials. From 1987 to the present he has spent most of his time successfully implementing a buy and hold investment strategy concentrated on a select number of outstanding companies. An engineering graduate of Queen’s University, Steve serves on the board of Constellation Software Inc., a Toronto Stock Exchange company.
