Biff Matthews serves as Manitou's Chairman and as a member of our Investment Committee. A graduate of the University of Toronto and Oxford University, Biff was a partner at McCarthy Tétrault before he and Steve Scotchmer founded Manitou in 1998. He serves on the Boards of E-L Financial Corporation Limited and Economic Investment Trust Limited, both of which trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Biff is a past Chairman of World Wildlife Fund Canada and a past (and the founding) Chairman of Outward Bound Ontario.
